P!nk's "Truth About Love" tour has returned stateside, but the star has been forced to cancel two dates to rest her voice.
The singer announced that she'll be postponing her Thursday concert in Salt Lake City as well as her Friday concert in Denver. The concerts were rescheduled immediately, and will now take place on October 29th and 30th.
P!nk took to Twitter to thank fans for their support, and let them know that her doctor has ordered her to take "complete vocal rest" for four full days. She called the cancellations "not very dramatic," and added that "touring would be terribly easy if [she] lipsynced."
Thanks for all the support y'all. Not very dramatic- doctor just wants me on complete vocal rest for four days to heal. So I can kick ass.— P!nk (@Pink) October 16, 2013
Both shows rescheduled and very quickly. Touring would be terribly easy if I lip synced. See you soon xo— P!nk (@Pink) October 16, 2013
Things may not have been dramatic this time around, but the star received some backlash earlier this year when she was forced to cancel dates in Europe for health reasons. She made headlines for writing scathing open letter to ticket-buyers who had accused her of slacking off.
