(NEWSER– After a longtime sports anchor at a Columbus TV station lost his 21-year-old daughter in a car crash, the Ohio State Buckeyes did what they could to comfort him. Dom Tiberi's daughter Maria died on Sept. 17. That Saturday, OSU offered a moment of silence for her before its game, reports Deadspin, which calls Tiberi a "local legend." He returned to WBNS, where he's worked for 32 years, in an emotional segment Thursday. Then, Saturday, he returned to OSU to cover his first game since Maria's death—and that's where things really got teary.
