Tucson Councilwoman Regina Romero was quoted in the UA's Daily Wildcat about her push for a paid day off for city workers to honor Cesar Chavez.  I can't believe what I read.

She told the paper Chavez got rights for farm workers in a "peaceful, non-violent way."  He ordered his UFW union thugs to beat up illegal immigrants that crossed the border and even set up a "wet line" for people to report illegal immigrants.

And she said one of her main goals when she was running for election in 2008 was to get this holiday done.  Huh? Now you know why the roads are awful and why there are no jobs.  This is a priority? Talk about an agenda.  How selfish.
