Casey Anthony Says She's 'Open' To Having More Kids

Casey Anthony reportedly open to having more kids

Casey Anthony, the 32-year-old woman who made international headlines after her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee vanished under mysterious circumstances, is reportedly open to the idea of having more children and doesn't care what other people think of the idea according to a report from People magazine.

According a source close to Anthony, the 32-year-old is reconsidering the idea of having children again.

"For a long time she was like ‘no way.' But time has changed that and she’s now open to it in a way she hasn’t been before," the source told the magazine.

"She’s very good at living her life and to hell with what other people think," the source said. "If she wants to have another kid, she’ll have another kid. She doesn’t care what you or I or anyone else thinks."

Anthony seemed to dismiss the idea of having more children in an interview with the Associated Press last year saying, she didn't think she could be responsible for bringing another child "into this world."

"If I am blessed enough to have another child - if I’d be dumb enough to bring another kid into this world knowing that there’d be a potential that some little snot-nosed kid would then say something mean to my kid - I don’t think I could live with that,” she said.

Anthony's 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, disappeared in 2008 after being reported missing by her grandmother on July 15. Anthony was arrested the next day on charges of child neglect. At the time, she told police that her child disappeared with a babysitter.

A few months later, Caylee's remains were discovered in a wooded area near the family home.

Prosecutors charged Anthony with murder, but a jury ultimately found her not-guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter and aggravated child abuse.

Anthony was eventually convicted on four counts of lying to police, however, two counts were later dropped. She served nearly three years in prison while she was awaiting her trial.
