Woman Dead After Being Attacked By Cow While Tending To Newborn Calf

A 28-year-old woman was killed while working on a farm in Lisbon, New York, on Sunday (June 9). The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office said that Flor Lopez was tending to a newborn calf at Flack Farms when one of the adult cows suddenly charged at her.

One of the cows inside the barn attacked Lopez, striking her several times and leaving her with severe injuries. Another worker called 911, and paramedics rushed to the scene. Lopez was then transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence County, where she died from her injuries.

Deputies with the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. They have ordered an autopsy to determine her exact cause of death.

No other details were provided about the tragic incident, and the owners of the fame have not commented about what happened over the weekend.
