Arizona is home to stunning scenery, cool small towns, fast-growing cities and even one of the best new restaurants in America.
New restaurants pop up all over the country ever year, and while some don't always stand the test of time, others become a household name. To celebrate all the amazing eateries that have opened throughout the year, Yelp compiled a list of 25 of the "best new restaurants of 2024," from a Mediterranean establishment in New York and a unique fusion joint in Kentucky to an elegant sushi spot in California and a chic oyster bar in Texas.
One restaurant in Arizona found a spot on the list. Course Restaurant in Scottsdale ranked No. 7 overall, earning praise for its elevated offerings, season ingredients and rotating menus. Course Restaurant is located at 7366 E. Shea Boulevard, Suite 106.
Here's what the site had to say about this new must-try establishment:
"Chef Cory Oppold and his team are elevating comfort foods to new heights at this fine-dining spot tucked into a Scottsdale strip mall. Lobster-stuffed corn dogs and doughnuts served with caviar and créme fraîche are some of the highlights of the changing menu. 'We wanted to curate an approachable dining experience that's both thought-provoking and comfortable,' Cory says. Menus and ingredients are seasonal, or themed for a limited time (like a menu of deconstructed Mexican favorites that ran for 4 days this fall). You can get the full 10-course shebang on Fridays and Saturdays, or a slimmer 5-course prix fixe menu (with 2 options for some courses) Tuesdays through Thursdays. On Sundays, a special rotating menu is offered for brunch. 'Each course is curated to take guests on a journey through flavors, textures, and presentations,' Cory says."
