2025 proved, once again, that the animal kingdom is capable of creating curious moments that are on par with the strangest of human events. From a scarf-clad chicken that sparked witchcraft concerns at a Zimbabwe courthouse and a bald eagle that dropped a cat through the windshield of a car cruising down a North Carolina highway to a drunk raccoon that passed out in a Virginia liquor store bathroom and a spider monkey (seen above) that popped up at a California traffic stop, creatures of all shapes and sizes made strange headlines this past year.
