KNST Listener Puts Up Sign Praising Phil, Sabino HS Senior

This is the email from a listener that made and planted the banner praising Phil:

After hearing the Phil Petersen interview last week, I hung this banner (vile, disgusting stuff) on a utility right-of-way at the intersection of Harrison and Snyder approaching Sabino High School.  All traffic approaching from the west, east, or south got a good look at it while stopped at the 4-way stop signs.  The banner was installed at 7:00 a.m. and by 7:15 a.m., a school administrator (white pickup truck with custom plates “MRDUCKS” pulled into the adjacent Mormon church seminary classroom, interrupted seminary class (a student later told me), and requested that the church remove the banner (again, it was on a utility right-of-way, not church property).  I got some bad video (58 Mb) of he and his companion fleeing when I came over to chat with him.  Pima County Sheriff – School Resource Officer drove by slow around 7:20 a.m., took a look, but didn’t stop.  That may have been coincidence, but I’m guessing that MRDUCKS called for back-up.  Anyhow, a guy from the Mormon church came out around 8:30 a.m. and took the banner down, but only after a few hundred Sabino students/teachers/parents got a good look.  I got the banner back and hope to make it reappear or to send it with Phil to hang in his college dorm next fall.
