TUSD Sends Email Supporting Event Organized By Resistance Movement

Here is the email from TUSD to parents about today's global climate strike. TUSD promotes the Arizona Youth Climate Strike rally at El Presidio Park. The truth the Arizona Resistance movement is the organizer of this event. We asked AZ Youth Climate for an interview and a woman named Judith with an AZResistance.org email responded. This is from the AZResistance.org website:

Climate Strike: Tucson

September 20 @ 4:30 pm-6:30 pm

The Arizona Youth Climate Strike is coming to Tucson! If you live in the Tucson area please join us at El Presido Park next to the Tucson City Hall for a Climate Strike from 4:30 to 6:30 on September 20th.

The Climate Crisis is the most urgent issue our generation faces today. Tucson youth will be standing alongside the millions of other young people striking across the United States and across the world. We encourage Arizonans of all ages to join us as we demand that our elected officials take action to combat the Climate Crisis.

Please register through Action Network atTinyURL.com/tucsonstrikeso we can get an idea of how many people are coming out and send you updates before the strike.

Remember: Bring Water, Wear Sunscreen and Wear Green!

And here is the TUSD email:
