Thanks to State Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita, after finding out the education budget bill had a paragraph giving school boards the power to mask our kids and staff anytime for any reason, State Rep. Regina Cobb announced that will be replaced with a ban on mandatory mask mandates in schools. I'm told that the Arizona House has the votes for an amendment to the education budget that bans mask mandates in schools and that Ducey supports it. I haven't see the language yet but this is a good start. I'm 99.99% sure the Senate has the votes to support this as well.
