1 of 2 Pima County, led by Matt Heinz, is looking to extend the useless, illegal mask mandate by 30 days despite every state in the country getting rid of covid restrictions. And the county is cherry picking stats. Cases didn't spike until the start of January and went down by the end of January. There are fewer cases (as if that matters) compared to two and three weeks ago. And hospitalizations are down.

1 of 3 Look at the rise in covid cases in Pima County starting in early January and fade out in the third week in January.
2 of 3 Giving the 7 day reporting window, Pima County covid cases were down to 956 on Feb 2, one week ago.
3 of 3 Three weeks ago from today and two weeks before the Feb 2 covid case count of 956, there were 3493 covid cases on Jan 19 in Pima County. So it dropped by 73 percent in two weeks but the county wants to extend the illegal mask mandate that nobody cares about because there were more cases this past week compared to the week of Dec 21, before cases spiked up.
