The National Football League continued to hemorrhage furious fans as the embattled organization entered its third week of the season, with attendees noting empty stadiums across the country.

Photos of the vacant arenas flooded social media as angry fans change the channel on the league following two years of athletes choosing to β€œtake a knee” during the performance of the US national anthem.

“The Chargers and Rams will meet on the field on Sunday, but both teams are trying to achieve a common goal off it β€” trying to reignite Los Angeles’ passion for the NFL,” writes the Associated Press.
